A masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the building and its sculptural decoration date from various periods. The interior, with works by artists such as Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, A.Vittoria and Tiepolo, includes vast council chambers, superbly decorated residential apartments, and austere prison cells. Along the facades of the Palace run loggias that overlook St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon. The combined entrance ticket to the St. Mark’s Square Museums grants access to the Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of Biblioteca Marciana.

Grand and impressive this is a must for all tourists. Fully recommend. Full of History and mystery Situated off St Marks square it is a great place to pick up a gondola for that trip under the bridge of sighs

Wow! What an amazing palace! Beautiful paintings and architecture. The court rooms were mind blowing. going over the Bridge of Sighs was cool. The prison was strange and a little eerie to see. Our teenage daughter did not like the prison.

Even from outside is beautiful and is a don't miss here in Venice. If you are in a Vaporetto you can take good photos of it.

Wonderful paintings. You need to make sure you go before 5:00 because even though they close at 7:00 you cannot get an audio guide after 5 and in typical Italian fashion start closing off areas to herd you out around 6:30. But well worth the...More

This was a great look into the city's history! I highly recommend a visit and a tour, if you have the time! (Only problem was it was a very long wait to get in even with a tour group)

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this palace. Well worth paying in advance to skip the line as the queues are very long indeed. Also worth paying €5 for an audio guide so you have fantatastic explanations of what you are seeing. This palace shows architecture,...More
