Very good collection. The guides are worth getting (audio or mini guide) as this is the best source of information about the pieces in the gallery.

Some great art here and some not so great with the not so great having typical "PhD clichés" in the convoluted and jargon ridden explanations. Love the Magrittes. Nice enough café for a break.

Well presented art works in a gallery with a view, good lighting, sculpture gardens and veranda onto the grand canal. Coffee shop staff were very friendly but prices are expensive (18Euro for a latte and tiramisu)

We enjoyed visiting this museum, it's not a big one, but the art collection is beautiful and there is so much to see. If the exhibition of Marino Marini is still on - it's a must. Also, take a walk in the garden.

I have been to Guggenheim in NY and in Bilbao, and I was overwhelmed. This one is ok to visit, nice location. They had one interesting temporary exhibition, the rest is very abstract for my taste.

always one of my favorite museums to visit - just the building and the garden by itself, let alone the art and special exhibition look at for free guided tours

Compact, airy, interesting, naughty. Modern art, sculpture garden, grande canal views and a great cafe, what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Enjoyed our cocktails and they served the best hot chips!

This collection in the modern buildings is a real treat. In addition to the regular collection, the temporary exhibit of Marino Marini's work was beautifully curated. The whole experience was a treat.

Visiting this museum was a lot of fun for us. We are not huge art people but we enjoyed it, the location is very pretty and the art was interesting. We did the audio tour and it was good.

A must for modern art enthusiasts. It’s a short visit that can be completed in two-three hours and definitely worth it.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with

Hi Cary The Museum was a home so it's not very large and probably could be done in around an hour. That said, if you want to spend a bit of time looking at the works more closely you shoud allow longer. My wife is very into... More

I used Venicelink at my last trip to Venice. They offer a shuttle service with other travelers in a boat as well as a private taxi service.

I have no idea if you can get a vaporetto from the airport into Venice proper (as we arrived by train...) But what I *can* tell you is the nearest vaporetto stop to the Guggenheim is Salute, which is served by Route 1. No... More
