Not only a camera shot across the water,take a walk over the Accademia bridge to visit Longhena's archtectual masterpiece Santa Maria dell Salute.to give thanks for Venice's from yet another plague.Worth the walk it's not a penance for you.

A different kind of Baroque church, the Salute has more of a Renaissance feel in the interior. There are paintings by Titian and the exceptional "Wedding at Cana" by Tintoretto.

This church is a wonderful architectural building. A view form Plaza San Marco is indispensable about sunset. Historical Monument.

Viewed from the Doges Palace it sits majestically across the entrance to the Grand Canal. A wonderful design of classic architecture painted by thousands of artists over the years

The church is open except sundays. We just walked in a dropped 2€ in the donation box

It is free entry. The treasury costs a few euros. Don't know about Chorus.

I was not aware of a dress code however I did notice that some people did cover their heads and shoulders were covered
