We waited too much just to get on the lift on the campanile and enjoy the view. Too narrow on the top, with a great view indeed but overestimated.

Don't want to climb hundreds of steps at San Marco's campanile? Want a stunning bird's eye view of all of Venice at a reasonable price without any line - and by a 60-second elevator? Want to be right by the bells when they chime the...More

When I visited during a week day afternoon in early December, there weren't many other tourists. There was no one actually in the church when I visited, but there were a few others (not many though) on the bell tower. The architecture of the church...More

I would definately recomment visiting the bell tower, the views are amazing! Just take the vaporetto from San marco, it is just one stop away. There is a lift to go up the tower.

You can visit a cathedral, with an interesting renaissance style . The campanile (bell tower),there is now also a lift. There is a fine view across Venice from the top.

The Church looked interesting so we took a vaparetto over to the island. The church was very pretty, and there was a special art exhibit going on. It was worth the time.

We always buy a vaporetto ticket for the week we are staying in Venice so I am not sure about the ruling on two separate trips. I my view it is probably just as cheap to buy a day ticket and you would be able to hop on and... More
