One of the best views in Venice and well worth a detour on the vaparetto. A whole new perspective on views of Venice. You must visit.

The tower of San Giorgio Maggiore provides an excellent vista across the water towards San Marco and beyond. None of the queues you get at the Campanile either!

A beautiful island just a ride away from San Marco. Has a beautiful church with bell tower. Can be a bit quieter than San Marco. Some really good views.

Wonderful views and no way as busy as the main one in St Marks Square. The bells ring every half hour, watch out! Lol

The water bus stops at this site. There is an elevator to the top of the tower. The views of Venice from the top are amazing. Toilet facilities available.
