All reviews walking tour highly recommend this tour an excellent guide san pantalon personal tour st mark square first morning starting point three hours his knowledge venetian history mark's basilica wonderful tour highlight of our trip small group davide perfetto
The journey is small and does not include entry to any building, but the guide is fanteastico, very familiar and informed, reviews relevant to everyday life and the changes he has suffered in the untilos city 25 years.
We had an excellent guide, who took us to parts that we would have been unlikely to have found on our own. He was very knowledgeable and certainly did not rush us through. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our family really enjoyed a morning tour through the streets of Venice with Davide of RafaelTours. He was fun, personable, full of great information and had a nice sense of humor! We highly recommend this tour as we took it on our first full day,...More
Tour guide Claudio was excellent! Knowledgeable, friendly, fun, we learned a lot of history during the tour.
Fast pace, we saw a lot. Great introduction to Venice and way to get your bearings in the city to take off on your own afterwards. Highly recommend!
What a great tour. The meeting time and place was super convenient and even though we had just arrived in Venice that morning we were able to find the meeting place very easily. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

My son (14) and I did a tour that lasted no more than 3 hours, without entering the buildings, just a walk through the city that explained the changes in architecture and customs of the people through the years. I think it's the perfect option. If you want a guide for a specific museum is another thing, it is preferable a guide for each museum but I do not think it is necessary, with the notes in the museums one has enough unless a very specific interes. Enjoy!
The website is Bruno Tours. They offer tours all over Italy. I highly recommend Elena for the Venice tour. We had the 6 hour tour of the city and are returning next month for the 3 hour Dorsodoro tour. Boun Viaggio
