It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Crowded but lively market here for the tourists. Lots of pizza places. The buildings are interesting if you can see past the crowds.

Walking through the Piazza there are many stalls selling tourist things, lovely restaurants where you can sit outside and other shops. The buildings are beautiful. You have 2 towers. One at the back and the Lamberti tower to your right. Stunning location.

Very much like most squares in Italian cities, but not too crowded fortunately. Overall we found Verona a little disappointing compared to other Italian cities we have fallen in love with.

This piazza is full of Italian zest. The lovely buildings, great little market but full of the usual tourist crap and some nice Gelateria. On the list if you want to go up the toro lamberti.

Piazza Erbe is perfect for people watching and admiring Italian architecture. It is expensive for a drink but it's an unmissable place in Verona

Not in Verona, better off looking in Firenze (Florence)
