It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Lovely piazza with lots of restaurants and outdoor seating. Nice vibe. Markets however had poor quality souvenirs and more expensive than Venice. Saw some vendors selling glass bracelets supposedly made from Murano glass from Venice for 10€ in nice boxes. When I wanted a different...More

Towers and nice old buildings around... this is the soul of Italy! All kinds of old architecture are marrying here to give the bold sensation you are at the heart of Italy

This place is really jumping with people all the time. There are restaurants and bars all around, with market stalls in the middle for 6 days.

A superb Piazza a real feel of Venice there are lots of restaurants and cafes here with the main clothes shops and Gulietta house close by. Some great frescos can be found here on the buildings.

Very pretty and busy piazza. The different architecture surrounding the piazza is very pretty during the day and night. There’s a great gelato place at one end of the piazza. Also a whalebone hanging over a pathway, I think it falls if someone who has...More

With all the distractions of a bustling piazza with its farmers’ markets and watering holes, you could be forgiven for missing the real treasures which lie above you. The ancient buildings towering above you, some with their original frescos still visible, make for an architectural...More

Market stalls in the middle; overpriced cafes to the side. Most discerning visitors would hurry through Piazza Dellar Erbe, you might think, but take the time to stand and look at the stunning architecture all around. Absolutely beautiful!

Hi we are not sure as we took a train from Milan to Verona. It's best if you find parking across the Elbe river as it is only a short walk to the Piazza. hope this helps you.
