Loved sitting on the base of one of the fountains and watching The life of Verona. The market stalls were very busy and we loved the fresh fruit bowl we devoured.

This piazza is further down from Piazza dell Erbe but it's quieter. I loved the Dante staue in the middle. Further down there are the Scagliero Tombs which one cannot miss.

Each and every time I come to Verona, I walk on and on Piazza dei Signori. This is the most attractive confined space of 'centro storice'. A giant diamond in the cage of other unique places of this perfect city.

I am always humbled when I stand amidst such historical architecture. It's a great little square with some very nice restaurants with outside dining. A great place to people watch.

One can imagine tourists bent on buying trinkets finding nothing of value in Piazza Signori especially after Piazza Erbe, but that would miss the point. This is a place to pause in the rush of visiting the list of sites. There is Dante, regal and...More

Be sure to continue on through Piazza Erbe to Piazza Signore! We enjoyed bringing a soccer ball here with the kids. It was an amazing evening to see everyone from local toddlers to little old Italian ladies with canes shuffling to kick the ball as...More
