As a regular visitor to Verona, I've taken about every food tour that Veronaround offers. I love visiting the food locations, and hearing about the history of not only the food area, but local history as well as we drive through the countryside. The occasional stops along the way, to me, are a nice bonus, and the sign of a... More

This tour was absolutely amazing! Daniel was very friendly and informative! Unfortunately, I left my wool headband in the car. Daniel, if you're back in town tomorrow please let me know! Also, Daniel definitely deserves a tip for how friendly and accommodating he is! Thank you again, the experience was great!

We did 2 great tours with Daniel. The first was a wine tour to Valpolicella where we visited a family run winery with excellent wine. Daniel was very informative and we enjoyed the trip immensely. The next day we did a tour to Sirmione on Lake Garda which included a boat ride around the peninsula. It was a beautiful sunny... More

We got to view the country side, listen to Daniel (very informative), describe the differences in growing grapes and how Olives are harvested. Later went to the Castle and then on to a local wine vintner who was also very detailed about there love for making wine in the region. Was overall a very nice tour.

We just returned home after the most amazing tour with Daniel from Veronaround Tours. It was wonderful to get out in the countryside and see the real Italy. We also had wonderful excursions to participate in the Risotto festival, visited a risotto mill and even risotto fields. What a great education. In the afternoon we learned about 14th and 15th... Greeting us at our hotel Danelle had a sort of knowing smile on his face. From the very moment we greeted him we felt more like we were with family than a hired guide. Our Driver Mateo and Danelle had already met each other out from of our apartment and within a few minutes we were travelling from the city... More

Daniel was an amazing host as he guided us through the valleys and vineyards - we felt like we were family visiting his home. Our destination was a tortellini factory, which was actually a bake shop with an opportunity to watch the assembly process - all handmade! We then stopped at a vineyard to taste some grapes, ready for harvest,... More

We did the wine tour on 20th September 2015 and it was a very pleasant experience. The tour was in English and the guide did a great job taking us through the wine making process. The guide did, in our opinion, know a lot about wine making and seemed very passionate about it. The winery was family owned and the... More
