The 4th biggest arena in Italy, and the model for the Coliseum, the Verona Arena is in great shape despite the outer ring missing. But, as an opera-lover, I came to the arena to attend the representation of Nabucco on 18 July. It was sublime....More

This was our second trip to the arena, having seen Aida a few years ago. One would have thought that it could not be topped for spectacle, but Nabucco came pretty well close. We were in the cheap seats and came we'll prepared with a...More

How amazing to be able to listen and see opera on this scal until very late in the evening. Seating was easy to find and a good bar for the intervals. No need to search for programs as these were offered on entrance. Our second...More

The arena is certainly a uniquely oawesome venue for any show - but to see opera performed here has been on my bucket list for a very long time. Maybe my expectations were too high but our evening ended up being one of endurance rather...More

We were lucky enough to be in Verona to hear Placido Domingo perform at the Arena. Our seats were in Section E, not reserved seats, well up the sides of the arena, but acoustics were still quite good. It was a hot night, and I...More

He still has it! Eventhough expecting him in a sole presentation, but having additional spectators (other singers, some Flamenco dancers) the event was a great show and spectecular. The Arena itself is beyond words. Just awesome athmosphere 😎
