We visited the Duomo on our walking tour of the historical center. The church interior was quite beautiful, but unfortunately the lighting inside was a mixed bag, making it to view and photograph certain details. There is an audio guide for the tour, but at...More

Verona is such a beautiful walkable city and when we saw this cathedral, we decided to visit. It is different, with subdued colors, and very historical feeling. I definitely recommend stopping by. It is a reasonable price to get in, a recorded tour is included....More

Dante lectured in the small chapel, worth going just to stand in that spot. Well worth the entry fee as there is a lot more than just the main basilica.

This is one cathedral made up of three churches on the same site. The baptistry is the first you enter with the largest font I have seen. The cathedral is decorated throughout with painted walls and renaissance pictures.

Beautiful cathedral that is definitely worth a visit. The cathedral blends in so well, as does much of modern Verona, to the older more historical sites throughout the city.

I am not really into visiting every church I come across, but the architecture of the Verona Cathedral makes it worth a look. You get free entrance with the Verona Pass, and you can take a little time to appreciate the history and the decoration...More

Extremely interesting complex: the cathedral was built in Romanesque style in the 12th century, several times it was restored, there are pictures of Titian. There are two remains of two ancient Christian churches in the complex, as well as the very interesting baptistery. There is...More
