Within it’s cool walls, you can rest from the summer heat and have a nice view of the river and the architectural structures lining the hills around.

Museo di Castelvecchio lets you explore the castle, regardless whether you find the exposition interesting or not. And the castle itself is really worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Was impressed by the building and the route through the museum. The galleries wind their way in and out of some charming and dramatic floors and courtyards. You can even walk on the battlements that give you a great view of the bridge and river....More

The castle was built during the second half of the 14 century by the Lords of Verona ,the della Scala ,as defensive works and has during the centuries almost exclusively been used for military purposes. 6 Euro entrance fee to the museum. Very interesting museum...More

You can go into the grounds without paying, but not into the building or around the battlements

I would say that in order to see all the Museum you should set aside at least 2 hours.
