About
In the heart of the Valpolicella region, birthplace of legendary wines such as Amarone and Valpolicella, and minutes from the city of Verona and Lake Garda, the elegant complex of Villa Mosconi lies nestled in a pocket of untouched nature, bordered by wooded slopes and beautiful vineyards. This picturesque valley was known in Roman times for its wines, its cellars, and for its clear running waters which fed the ancient aqueduct of Verona. The villa itself claims a unique place of importance in the history of winemaking. It was in these cellars in 1936 that the name "Amarone" was given to what is now considered the most respected Veronese wines in the world.

Amazing place with rich history. Excellent wine selection. The hosts were very polite and well prepared in their presentation of the place, the wine production and the characteristics of each one of the wines during the wine tasting.

Very nice house and garden, we've learned lots of interesting information about the production of wines from our guide Rebecca, and finally got to taste four different high quality wines. Sure enough, we bought some bottles to enjoy them at home.

Loved everything about this visit!
Friendly, knowledgeable guides, a tour which is interesting and not too long, with a generous tasting of four quality wines for only 24 euro! There is a premium option.. but we don't see how it could be better. The presentation and tasting notes are great! (English is spoken very fluently.. and the presentation is supported by video..)
The main room at the Villa is exquisitely decorated.. the gardens are tranquil and beautiful.. The whole experience breathtaking!

We booked the tour & wine tasting through a website that charged $38 per person expecting terrific wines. The tour was interesting and the guide was very good and knowledgeable, but of the four wines we were given, three are at best average and the Amarone was the only good wine. At the end, we checked the prices per bottle and the Amarone is more than 75 Euro per bottle. For that price, you can get much better wines.

Absolutely loved the tour. We toured the estate and buildings, as well as learned about the processes. The host was great, she did both Italian and English and answered all our questions. After touring the villa we tasted 4 wines. There was a PowerPoint with good foods to pair with the wine and informative info about each wine. After we purchased a bottle of wine, where the hosts were incredibly sweet. I would definitely come back again!

Our youngest daughter and her fiancé chose the majestic Villa Mosconi Bertani near Verona as the venue for their wedding ceremony and celebrations for 110 guests. Mere words cannot convey the magnificence of this ancient classical villa and estate and the whole day felt as if we were in a dream or perhaps a lavish television series!
I would recommend using a wedding planner to ensure that your special day goes without a hitch.

We were unable to attend our reservation due to a medical emergency but the staff handled it beautifully and we're very understanding. I am so sad we could not experience the tour but will make a reservation as soon as I can make it back to Verona!

Hi, I can book the wine tasting tour for a specific date, but it states in the information there are three times available for each date (10am, 2pm and 6pm), I can’t see anywhere to select which time slot. If you have booked for that date can you attend any or am I missing where you select which one?

I would like to take a taxi from the train station in Verona to the Villa Mosconi, are there taxis readily available at the train station, and will the management at the Villa be willing to call a taxi for my return?

We are visiting Verona for the 2016 stone fair....then heading to Villa Cordevigo for 4 or 5 days
From there want to do wine tasting ventures each day.
Had a bottle of 2001 Bertani Amarone for dinner this evening....after breathing for half hour it was fantastic.
Also bought a 2003 Bertani Amarone this afternoon at a great wine venue called Enoteca S. Anastasia
They suggested a wine tasting at Bertani next Monday?
Is this possible for myself and wife?
Also do you ship wine to Perth Australia ?

How far from centre of Verona? Is there any help ie wheelchair for disabled?

Not far at all. 10-15 minutes by car. Not just easy access for a wheelchair, but the people here are very friendly and our group was small, so I would not hesitate to go there because of the wheelchair. The estate is wonderful

If you take the 6PM tour, do you still get to see the grounds and everything? How long does the tour last?
