If you have time start at Porta Nuova where the parks and city wall start and keep walking the edge of the city, it took us about 3 and half hours to walk from one end to the other. You get the whole picture of how this city was surrounded by a wall that is well preserved. These sections between the old gates are split into mini parks. There are no cafe's or toilets along the wall, but there are water taps. this takes you out of the city and into the calm quiet parts of Verona. It good to see where they have cut into the wall to make a road through into the city. All 3 gates are worth a look if your into this kind of thing.

Interesting 16th century Town Gate. Unfortunately like most of the Town Walls near the train station, not much care is taken of the attraction. It's just "stuck there" at the side of a busy road.

It is one of the historic entrance gates to the historic center of Verona, certainly pretty but perhaps under-appreciated
