We had a great time stopping in for a pre dinner wine. Very small and off the beaten path, it has a cool atmosphere and perfect for a short rest and nice glass of wine. We were there during aperitivo time, so there was a...More

What a find! Stumbled on it by accident in the pouring rain. So many bottles of wine, the wine by the glass was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our first visit to Oreste Dal Zovo was in March 1995--before internet presence, before cell phones, before social media and before GPS to direct our way… We stumbled upon this gem after the chef at Il Desco’s suggested it. I now liken our experience of...More

If you like wine bars then add this one. It's different it's like someone's shop with a bar. No frills but the selection is a wine lovers dream. I'm sitting here now enjoying a valpolcella. There's a sign above the bar. ' Merry Christmas'. Do...More

I saw some complaints about this place regarding the quirky guy and the fact that he doesn't accept credit cards. At 3 euro for a glass of wine I'm not sure what people are complaining about. OK I would not buy a 100 euro bottle...More

Meandering off the Corso Porta Borsari, whilst enjoying the Hostario Verona in 2015, we encountered this tiny wine bar. One room is dedicated to serving or selling wine, the other other is effectively a wine store which you can browse for all manner of wines...More
