The Sant'Anastasia church is one of the four great churches of Verona. Its interior brightly lit by natural light seems to be recently renovated as its wall decorations are in good shape. Don't miss the church of St Peter Martyr (or San Giorgetto) to the left of Sant'Anastasia. The combination ticket costs €6 and covers all four churches: St Zeno,... More

Nicely constructed and maintained, the church is near the center of town and close to the bridge to the Teatro Romano ruins. An easy stop on any walking tour, and a nice contrast to the grnader and more ancient Duomo.

We visited this Gothic church in April 2017 with free entry and audio guide using the Verona card. This church was amazing with excellent paintings and architecture.

Behind the deceptively simple facade and unpretentious approach lies some brilliant artistry. It's not a very big place, but it has lots of art - on the walls, on the ceilings and domes. Visiting many such churches and cathedrals in a short span of a week or ten days creates some kind of a blur in one's mind - but... More

Beautiful church in the heart of Verona. Wasn't far from where we were staying. Entrance is 2.5 euros and as you can see from the photos others have taken, its well worth it

Gothic churches are usually monochromatic and dark, with few light coming through the "vitraux" of their windows. This church is, however, bright, with plenty of daylight coming through its windows, bringing out its harmonious colorful decorations, and skillfully laid floor in white or red Verona marble. Worth noting the two stoups before the first two columns, one of which is... More

There are many churches worth visiting in Verona, but this is a must-see. It is majestic, with great art, history and a fantastic and unique ceiling.

If you have time to visit one church then make it this one. For £2.50 you get an audio in your chosen language and can take your time in walking about and soaking up the history. Great sculptures and stained glass windows. A must see.
