You can find this tower on Piazza dei Signori, the main square in a town controlled by the Venetian Republic. This impressive tower, still one of the tallest buildings in Vicenza, was built originally in the 12th Century. The structure weathered earthquakes and damage by...More

This towwer is closed to visitors, so you can only look at it. It is a big clock tower. Adds charm to the piazza.

The medieval Torre Bissara fell victim of American bombing in WW2, ad was rebuilt in 2002. A peculiarity is the ringtone, a melody that belongs to this tower alone.

This area is a must Area to walk around. The restaurants are plentiful, and the architectural is amazing. I have been back to this area several times, and plan on going back several more times. There is so much to see and photograph.

Loved photographing the tower, enjoying the plaza, listening to the bells and watching the people. This is a peaceful place to visit.

This 270' tower is like a sentinel watching over the jewels of the Piazza dei Signori. There is nothing unique about this tower as you can see many of them throughout Italy. It adds a nice touch to the square however.
