This was a magical experience. I was on a large family group (almost 20!) and we all piled on to their boat. The researchers were so passionate about their work. We were told they were there was a possibility we wouldn't see dolphins, but we were surprised to see a TON. Even if we didn't see any, the researchers' enthusiasm and knowledge about the ocean and the dolphins in this area was contagious. It was informative and great for kids, but also a relaxing and gorgeous day on the water. Can not recommend this enough!!

This is bucket list stuff! We had a wonderful few hours on the water, saw many more dolphins than we had expected to, the crew were lovely gave us lots of information about the dolphins and their habitat. We only just got to the boat before it left due to parking issues, we thought we could park at the marina, however it’s not public parking. We spent 30 minutes looking for a space and found one in the piazza Garibaldi which is just under a mile away from where the boat leaves, make sure to leave plenty of time to find a place to park!

Wonderful concerts of educating people of sea life. Excellent two young ladies hosted the day with a friendly attitude even translation to English for two participants. We were lucky to see two types of delfins - my dream came true.
Conversation center was also very interesting and I learned a lot of new things.

This is amazing!! We became richer with a fantastic experience on July 14th. Professional and very nice, helpful staff on board. We were the only foreigners (two) on the trip. The staff told us everything in English. We were lucky because we saw two different species of dolphins. We learned so much about these great animals. We are very grateful for the experience. We will definitely see you again next year!
We don't speak Italian (must be learned), but we gladly bought a copy of their book to support them and a bottle of San Giorgio wine.

Thoroughly enjoyable trip to find dolphins with a conservation group.Although we were the only english speaking couple on board, we were made very welcome. Drinks and food provided. Unfortunately we only saw two dolphins(albeit, several times!!) and this was late in the trip, but really worth doing. The chances of seeing them is actually very high.

had the best time ever on board! The crew was professional, friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was just amazing! On top of it all - we were all part of a research project, and all the funds go just to fund that project! you got to love this group! highly recommended!

We were really looking forward to this trip due to the outstanding reviews but left feeling quite disappointed. We did see some beautiful striped dolphins after a couple of hours of travelling and that was amazing. But after this first sighting we turned around, ate lunch - which was good - and then did a trip around the harbour for the remaining time which wasn't what we wanted to do so it was pretty boring. Also there was almost no information given about what they did or the dolphins themselves. I couldn't really tell you know what they actually do. It wasn't unpleasant it was just not what we expected so we were rather let down.

This is a great organisation on so many levels. A research team that takes people for a day long experience observing dolphins in the gulf of Taranto. They have found a great way to fund this type of research... a trip with the researchers themselves!
The staff is very attentive and always there to help and explain anything they are doing. It's almost impossible not to sight dolphins ... We were told they have a more than 90% sighting rate.

The researchers and volunteers are very respectful of the sea and of the pods... They won't let you swim in the same area of sighting not to disturb the pods and always remind you and all the kids not to talk too loud.

Our trip involved a morning following 2 pods of 5/6 Dolphins who swam under our boat for long time...
After the team was happy with the data collected we were taken to swim in the beautiful deep blue sea of the gulf ... 2 members of staff explained everything about the life of these beautiful species in the gulf and we were offered a great lunch too!

It s a great way to help protect and learn about these beautiful animals !

We will definitely return!!

This trip is excellent & very good value for money. The cost goes straight to the research. There are so many Dolphins who clearly enjoy jumping and playing around the boat. The team were great too and as the only English speaking people on the boat they made a huge effort and included us.

It was an amazing day! We woke up at 3.40 am to catch a bus from Monopoli to Taranto but it was worth it. I wish everybody could take part in such a cruise. It is a combination of attraction (not only for children) with education and support for animal protection. Really nice crew helped us even to get on bus after the cruise. Grazie!
