    Amazing - a big highlight
Amazing. Absolutely a big Highlight. Our guide Roberto knew many interesting stories to every exhibited ship or item. Really captivating also for family members without big knowledge in navy concerns. And for our specialist in the family no question left open. Thank you Roberto, this was a very impressing experience for us!

    Taranto and italian navy origins
Great experience with Stefano's guide. It was a trip since Taranto's Born and italian navy to actual days. There are many many models, historic finds and the drawing room of italian navy.

Interesting but it has to be improved
The tourist guide was very competent and passionate. Nice piece of Taranto history you cannot miss, but it has to be improved a lot, too many models and no change to visit a real ship. Completely absent any mention of the Royal Navy attack to the Arsenale and Italian naval base during WWII

Fantastic museum and excellent tour guide! The portion of the museum dedicated to the age of sail was particularly interesting. Grazie per Il tuo tempo!

During a trip to Taranto, my son and I had the opportunity to visit the "historical and artisan exhibition" at the military arsenal of Taranto. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised because historical war and military artefacts are preserved inside, including the first military vessel built in Taranto in 1898. A special thank you to everyone for the welcome and to the guide who expertly guided the tours. Taranto is a city that has given so much to Italy and still has so much to offer, therefore, I invite everyone to go and visit it.

Visiting the Taranto arsenal was a pleasure. I also thank the guide who led us to discover the origins of Taranto and made us discover the past technological innovations of the navy developed right in Taranto.

A beautiful view, exciting and instructive, I learned many things about our wonderful Navy, The guides are very good and full of passion. I was particularly struck to see the "Tracing Room" where anticamemte were traced the shapes to build the parts of the ships that were subsequently assembled. Italian masterpieces, Italian ingenuity that everyone should know to feel proud. I recommend everyone to visit this magical place if you find yourself passing by Taranto.

For an hour we immersed ourselves in history, it was an exciting experience, highly recommended! Mr. Stefano prepared and engaging. It doesn't hurt that admission is free.

Beautiful museum, beautiful historical artefacts from the history of the arsenal which told the story of Taranto. The guide who accompanied us was also very good and nice in telling us old anecdotes from the history of Taranto that, as a Taranto native, I didn't know existed. I recommend it to tourists and people from Taranto.

A wonderful experience, you will be welcomed at the entrance by Mr. Mimmo and his colleague, cheerful, friendly and helpful people as well as very knowledgeable, my guide for this trip to discover the history of the arsenal and of Taranto was Roberto, a person who he likes his work and will certainly enthusiastically pass on to you his knowledge which is truly full of stories about the objects exhibited in the arsenal. He will tell you about pre- and post-industrialization Taranto because of the arsenal and the stories about the ships built in this place. Definitely worth doing again, well looked after place and they are super good and prepared.
