This is the beach right in town. It was in front of our hotel. It is very long and has many places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas and the other typical beach equipment. Behind the break wall are many cafes’ and restaurants. There are...More

This beach is one of the ugliest I ever seen in my life. It smells, it is full of sea weed, it is crowded and there are no toilets! So everyone uses the sea for this imagine the smell. Sun beds cost 5 euros each,...More

Nice and clear water. Preferrably go there during weekdays. It is crowded during the weekends. You can find restaurants for lunch within the area.

The beach is quite acceptable, the sun beds with a parasol cost 12-14 euros/dax/2beds+parasol. The water is shallow, perfect for children. It had a weird smell though due to the algae that was washed out by the sea. It’s a pity that the beach is...More

It's a shame that such a beautiful city as Alghero has its most closest beach so careless maintained. There's an awful odour from tones of dead algae. Otherwise, the other beaches around Alghero are beautiful (Maria Pia, Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto and Mugoni)

The beach is ok but not as nice as the other Alghero beaches. Convenient for those without cars and staying in the town. The beaches are well populated with hotel facilities for sunloungers but it does get very busy. The water is not as beautiful...More

Staff were the least friendly we have experienced so far in Alghero. Great location however and totally gorgeous pizza. You have to have a big appetite though as they only serve 1/2 or 1 metre pizzas. Not the best experience, but not the worst...

Local government should think about it. There are a lot of alga. In my opinion it is not a problem to clean a beach each day. It could be a really beautiful place...

Best parts are he beautiful sand and clear water with a loooooong shallow section to play in, but this beach has a bit of a seaweed problem near the shore where it all washes up - just step over it and you'll be fine. Also...More

By the lido there are many restaurants. If you want shop and the old Alghero town, it is about 5-20 minutes walk (depends where exactly on the beach you are).
