Defo worth a visit, if you go round the back there is a lift, looks a bit like a workman lift, and you can go all the way up to the top and walk along on the roof. The views over Cagliari are phenominal!

visited by night, magical, lovely view of the city, a must before leaving Cagliari as it is well preserved and looks like a city within a city.

Nothing special really... Only a building basically... We were quite disappointed actually. Go and visit The Nice area plus restaurants more near by the sea instead, so much nicer,

The Bastione is nice and interesting to see while being in Cagliari.I haven't been on its upper part but there is a possibility to see the whole city

The elevator and the main stairs are closed at the moment, which makes access a little more difficult, but it is worth while making your way to the top. The views are good and there is a cafe. Events are regularly held here.

We did not have the opportunity to go inside as renovation is going on. But the structure is imposing and beautiful. Looks great in the day and with well-placed lighting at night.

The Bastione is beautifully preserved but the real gem is the terrace on the top. Nowaways it is an evening meeting place for the locals, for aperitivo or concerts, but the views from the Terrace are just superb.
