We were taking a walk after having a drink nearby. We just happened to find our way to the Plazzo di Citta. We a great part of the city. Beautiful little streets are located all around the Palzzo.

Very pleased to have found this square so close to the cathedral. The ice creams from the seller were delicious and the bar looked very pleasant to sit at. It also gave great views of the cathedral frontage.

We were wandering in the Old Town when we found this impressive building. We took a wonderful photo of it together with the cathedral. The square is a good meeting point with some bars. You can relax for a few minutes there.

Hopefully this is the correct museum.... We travelled to Cagliari on purpose to go and see the exhibition of photographs by Magnum Reporters taken on Sardinia. Anyone else wanting to do this - and the exhibition is truly lovely - go up the Regina Margherita until you come to a circular square... and then follow the signs for the lift that takes you up to the Bastione. When you get up to the top, just keep on walking upwards until you reach a square and the museum is just on your left.... Signposting is non-existent, unfortunately.
Photographs were taken in the 50s and 60s when Sardinia was a different island. However, the photographs are excellent and there is even a short film to watch which, as they say, shows the Costa Smeralda before they started building all over it.
A charming exhibition which will end on 26th November. If you have the chance, DO go and see it!!

We almost walked past this. Luckily we went in and as it was the end of the day the staff had time to tell us a little more about it. It only takes a short time to visit but really well worth it.

Authentic square, great to walk along and eat a sandwich on a wall. The Santa Maria Cathedral is definitely worth a visit.

Overlooking the square of the same name and with the Cathedral next to it, this ancient 14th century palace is now home to contemporary exhibitions, but in the past it was the municipal seat until the early years of the last century.

A palace which in ancient times in the Middle Ages was the municipal seat and therefore the political power settled in it, then it changed uses, now it is a museum, valorised to the maximum. It is a beautiful ancient structure, re-evaluated, in Piazza Palazzo where we find the Viceregal Palace and the Cathedral. A magnificent overview of the temporal and religious powers.
