This medium sized city botanical garden offers free access to several sections like the Sicilian one or cactuses. The plants are well taken care of and nicely labeled. The toilets were very clean even at closing time

Very nice place if you need some relaxing in the city. This might be a good place for a picnic, if food is allowed.

We found Orto Botanico by chance, exploring Catania city. First surprise-it's free. It's very well maintained. Enjoyed there very much.

This place is simply gorgeous, a hidden gem. Stroll around and enjoy the planting, the herbs, the trees, the cacti which are pretty spectacular. Loved it! Oh, and it's free.
