Fantastic place in this busy and not very romantic city. Big city garden with alleys and benches. It needs more care and gardener works but despite this - I can recommend to spend here 1-2 hours.

I walked to this garden every morning for exercise and it was my quietest time in the day. Its very old and has many levels. Of particular fascination to me were the marble or bronze busts of important Italian people from the past. You walk...More

Lovely gardens for a stroll. There is terrace at the top of the stairs with a lovely view of the smoking vulcano Etna.

Bellini was a native of Catania. Best known for writing operas and classical music. My favorite is the opera Marta. The title aria was made famous by Pavarotti.

this is a very nice park to walk in, there are many things to see (fountain, terrace). the nice thing is that they use plants to display the current date. they change the plants every day to reflect the current date. very interesting.

Larger than we were expecting and situated at the top of the main and generally busy shopping street. Often something going on to view.

Free entry. The perfect place to wander on a hot day ... very well maintained park with walkways lined with oleanders and peppercorn trees - and others - a playground for the kids and plenty of seats to rest in the shade and contemplate.

Unless you are a swift walker it would be a long walk from the cruise ship terminal. I would take a local bus or a taxi. Yes, it is only a short walk from the Duomo. If you only have a short time in Catania then I would... More
