As with all the cities as you travel around Sicily there is a Cathedral to visit and this is equally as stunning. A lovely place to wander around and then sit having coffee/ice-cream in the piazza

Your run of the mill average catedral, but Catania is a beautiful city overlooked by tourists! Check out the restaurants, the castle and the gardens near by

Great slice of life in Catania. Comes alive in the evening. Beautiful duomo, gorgeous fountain, cafes, gelatto.

Alarge prety Piazza yes, a few stalls around but very crowded cafes dotted round - but just go round the corner and there are quiet cafes on the side streets offering better beer too or coffee if you wish.

Had a private walking tour of the Duomo, Cathedral, gardens, fish market, etc. Four hours and 5 miles of walking. It was awesome - saw all the high points of Catania and my guide was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

A must visit and if you do go in a morning, walk alongside the gushing fountain to explore the crazy fish market!

Listening to acordeon music and having a really nice italian beer made our visit to this plaza really unforgetable. Best time is between 5-6, sun is getting down and the plaza looks gorgeous, this place is a most at Siracusa.

Loved every minute of the piazza. The square has so much historial buildings incliding the cathedral of St Agata, Patrin saint of Catania Sicily. Outside the main piazza younhave the fruit, fish and other local produce with heaps of options to choose. Highly recommended.😀😀😀😀😀

It is a nice square, but I don't think this is a must do in Catania, there other beautiful things to do there.

I enjoyed this place very much, specially after 7pm because of the nice temperature during the summer. Great to take a coffee or drink an icecream looking the monuments or just the people passing by.

Yes. It is really easy and close, just exit from the port, turn left and walk following the archs. You'll arrive at "Porta Uzeda" at your right. Cross it and you'll be there.
