Definitely work a visit; inexpensive entrance fee. You will find countless jeweled sacred items, as well as the gold mantel that covered an icon of Mary and Jesus that no longer exists.

This classic museum is inside the Church on the right hand side. There is a small entrance fee. The calices and other artifacts on display are well maintained. Some of them dating back a few centuries. Videos and photos are not permitted inside

The museum is full of fantastic gold, silver and bronze pieces, which date back from the 11th century. With the Audioguide everything becomes a bit more interresting and clearer (takes about 20min). The golden Manta is a priceless piece that just enchants you with its beauty!!

This is a must see museum for antique and relic connousseurs. Inside are collections of very valuable reliquary kept for safe keeping. Some of the items dates from the middle ages and are full of gold, silver, and priceless vestments and statuaries saved from the WW II bombing of Messina. Truly a wonderful and rich experience. This is located inside... More
