We left the ship and the representatives from different bus companies were there at the port. We picked this one. The ship docks so close to the city and bus stop is just 5 minutes on foot. It was a very nice tour, the sound was perfect and we could choose between many languages including French and English. My kids... More

We left our ship and the city was right at the port. We noticed right off that the traffic and people mixed together in dangerous and chaotic harmony. Some on our ship turned around and got back on board right away not wanting to deal with the craziness, risk and trash. We found a HOHO bus and a little train... More

On the day our cruise ship arrived at Palermo, the port was closed for the morning due to the rough sea, so we only had about 4 hours for the city; fortunately we didn’t book any trip; we just went ashore to check out a few places of interest. The first was the well know old grand opera house (Teatro... More

Our cruise stayed in Palermo for half day. So, we tried to seek tourist info at the cruise pier where many choices are offered. With our previous positive experience in other places, we didn't take other offers but look for the hop on hop off bus to tour the city. But unlike the service just outside the pier, to our... More

Having only one afternoon to see Palermo, my daughter and I decided to get onto the bus tour with guide in English. A bit expensive, but you could get on and off all the way round, and ticket valid for a 24 hours, and for the two main circuits. Individual headphones supplied and choice of languages. Fairly good guide with... More

I can't speak for the walking tour (which has received a good review I see) but the customer service we received on the City Sightseeing double decker bus tour was appalling. We arrived in Palermo in a Sunday and were delighted to see that a sightseeing bus was in operation. We wanted to see a particular sight and got off... More

This was one of the best walking city tours I've ever done and the best value out there! The whole tour was 10 euros and lasted almost 3 hours ( I think its officially a two hour tour) Our tour guide was absolutely amazing, fun, informative and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Palermo. It made my visit to this... More

I visited Palermo recently and was disappointed with the sightseeing service. Heavy showers meant there was no space on two buses for us having waited 35 minutes. We decided we had waited long enough and asked whether we could have the unused tickets refunded and to head around the city on foot. We were refused and told to wait another... More

We are sorry for the bad weather you found. Double deck buses have 80 seats, but heavy showers mean that we can only use the lower deck, where 25 seats are located. In Palermo, it is seldom rainy and heavy showers usually last few minutes; when you choose an open bus, you are aware that some inconvenience can take place... More

We love taking the bus tour when visiting a new city. The problem with palermo is that traffic is too random and hectic and you have the risk of getting stuck in the jam. Today we took it at 12 pm from the botanic gardens and at 13h we were still by the port. As we needed to take the... More
