A great guided tour all around the catacombe underneath which seem to spread out forever. Good knowledgeable quide who explained in good English all the history of the area. Well worth it.

Tours are at a set time so worth finding out times before getting there. Access by guided tours only as it would be easy to get lost as the Catacombs cover a large area. No photographs allowed in the Catacombs and tour is conducted in...More

We managed to arrive just after the tour had left but we were joined to them quite quickly by a member of staff. The tour is given first in Italian and then in English and the guide was ok to answer a few questions. The...More

Firstly the sight of the church is a surprise, most unexpected given the area. Then you join a tour of the catacombs which is very interesting - our guide spoke both Italian and English. You have to be guided for reasons that are obvious once...More

It was an 8 euro tour. It was guided in Italian then English but I struggled with her English. Photos were not allowed in the catacombs which was a shame. I'm not sure of the reason. The remains are long gone, so I doubt it's...More

It is well worth getting here before the tour times as a queue can build up. The tour itself is well organised, very informative and interesting. The size of the catacombs is very impressive even though you only visit a small portion of them.

Who doesn't love a nice catacombe? This one consists of a paid tour, a few euros, and about 30 minutes. We walked through a somewhat vast labyrinth of little tombs while the guide explained in English and Italian the particulars of each 'attraction.' We learned...More
