Between the amazing archeological site and the archeology museum we "stumbled" on the catacombs and decided to take the tour -- and were we amazed. They cover some 10,000 sq meters and have 10,000 graves. It is a very well laid out and organized underground...More

It's a must see. They are quite extensive and there is a lot to see. The atmosphere is peaceful and it's really relaxing to wander around. Don't miss it. CIAO

Large catacombs with An interesting, guided tour, around 40 mins in total. They started on the half hour, but do check. Could combine with a visit to the archae parc, though I enjoyed this more.

Easily accessed from the Greek Theater. The church was totally scaffolded and so there was nothing to see there. The catacombs have a great history. However, we came from Palermo where there were bodies still present and so it was a bit less than these...More

The size of catacombs was amazing. The tour was very informative as well as showing a vast area of the tombs. The guide spoke excellent English and was always ready to answer questions.
