As already noted, a lot of the 'garden' seems to be blocked off, as of 3 March 2015. It was pleasant enough, given we had gone to see the Greek Theatre mostly and it was in with the entrance cost of the Archaeological Park as a whole. Low-season-itis....

As others have said, much of the gardens have been blocked off. Perhaps in-season "paradise" looks more lush and beautiful.

Half of it was closed, with no explanation. We only happened on the catcombs at the far end by chance the day after our visit to the archeological park, when we left the car to visit the museum.

The Gardens of Paradise are part of the Parco Archeologico della Neapolis - same entry ticket - cost euro9-00. The main attraction is the cave or grotto which is supposed to have good acoustics. This may be the case if you could visit it on your own. See my full review of the three attractions under "Archeological Zone"

A great garden that provided sume respite from the hot sun. But much of it was closed and there was little explanation given. Would have liked some more information – apart from my Lonely Planet guidebook.
