Unique and worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood in Siracusa. Inside is very unusual and for some certainly inspiring.

I did not know what to expect when I visited this place of worship but I was overcome with a strong connection with the Virgin Mary and the miracle of her healing tears.

comparing to all the old churches here this is an interesting place to visit. modernism vs old. just outcise is the site of an ancient church, check it out as you walk by.

You can see this from quite some distance. I went to the archaeological museum and this is right next to it. Impressive from the outside, I didn't go in so cannot comment on the interior.
