The square in front of the duomo was very spacious. Not too crowded, the facade looked clean and nice statues on both sides of the steps. I did not enter the duomo, but the positioning of buildings in front of the duomo are beautifully arched.

For 2 Euro pp this is worth the entry fee. Astonishing architecture inside and out. They will however ask you to cover up your shoulders (they hand out some sort of skimpy raincoats). Go back at night to take outdoor shots of the facade.
