As we could not find parking in Taormina this was a pleasant surprise and got us into the lower part of Taormina. Runs every 30 minutes, so in a busy time it could be a problem, with only limited numbers each trip. We had no...More

This is a brand new cable car taking you from outside the old town down to the beach level. It is very necessary especially for the way back up. Travels every 15minutes and reasonably priced.

Excellent service, just costs €3 for a journey and goes every 15 minutes. Otherwise Taormina is one giant staircase which can be very wearing

The Funivia is so quick and easy it made going down to the Beach Area for a fantastic Sunday lunch a win. Not expensive.

You have to pay for Mazarro parking and for 2 way ticket for the cable car. Use Lumbi Parking https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187892-i344-k9226631-Parking_at_Parchggio_Lumbi-Taormina_Province_of_Messina_Sicily.html and enjoy the bay view from Taormina .

It runs pretty much all day. Should be quite quiet in a October. We had no trouble catching one in April.
