The ride down from Taormina affords a spectacular view albeit thru grimy windows. The beach is accessed by a tunnel under the rail line and there are a cluster of restaurants with great views our favorite is lido Di Pigna .beach lounges are for rent...More

Although pebbly and you have to pay to stay in particular areas of the beach (10 euros per person for a sunbed and umbrella) there is a public area which was just as good. There are local boats which take you round the coastline to...More

Was there briefly for the day and the water was beautiful, a boat tour would probably be a good choice to explore the coastline and coves nearby. I was surprised to see so many people laying on the "beach" which is not soft and sandy...More

Nothing to like, although it was still out of they main season and nothing open which was fine, the condition of the beach and the town appeared dirty and unloved

We love Italy and frequently visiting it every year. But Mazzaro beach is the worse in Italy. 1. 99% of all the beach belongs to some 'rich' hotels and you are not allowed to the beach...of course unless you willing to pay for the spot...More

We were interested in visiting this area as it was ranked as one of the top places in Taormina. The cable car itself was easy with good views of the area albeit there were huge queues to get back up....we waited for about 45 minutes...More

Water is much warmer than in Isola Bella, not so many people, free space for lying and enjoying the sun. There're also some not expensive small bars and restaurants where you can order pizza, pasta, sea-food, etc. The good thing is that you can come...More

The beach is tiny, sun beds a rip off (10 euros each, off peak) and very little choice of eating places. You are also harassed every two seconds by someone with something to sell or a massage to offer. Saving grace was the beautiful clear...More
