A beautiful garden laid out longways on the slopes of Taoramina. Slowly decaying structures of wood and tile and brick and stone are everywhere. The whole thing is the legacy of of a Brithish aristocrat - best to read about her in the Gardens. On a sunny day this place is enchanting. Views forever and of course Mt Etna

I feel bad as we enjoyed everything about Taormina and I'd coerced my husband into the garden, but it was a let-down. Perhaps it was the time of year but it felt bleak, there were loads of cordoned off areas, buildings being refurbished and hardly any greenery to speak of. However, the views across the bay were spectacular. Probably better... More

Have visited many times, for the gardens, the eccentric garden follies, and incomparable view of the sea and Mount Etna.

This garden in Taormina is exceptional! It is quite extensive and holds many interesting structures and vistas. While on a recent trip to Sicily, I found myself spending several hours on two separate occasions here. It is a nice place to bring a lunch and get away from the crowded street of the Old Town.

Lovely gardens in the heart of Taormina with a wonderful view of Etna and the bay. Paved walk ways and quirky follies- lovely little trip out.

Staying at a local hotel we often walked through the gardens. Ideal place for shade in July very hot. Spectacular views of the harbour and Mount Etna. Admission free. Well worth a visit.

If the crowd of the main shopping area feels a bit too much or if you are looking for a quite spot with fantastic views then look for this place. Located in Via Roma this is a nice garden which looks over Taormina coastline. We found the garden to be good and the views great.

We spent a lovely afternnon strolling the grounds of the Villa comunale. It was a perfect ending to a day in which we visited the ancient Greek amphitheatre. The gardens are beautifuuly kept . the views over the sea from the gardens were outstanding.
