We just wanted a cappuccino and a seat for a bit before more exploring of Taormina The servers were not impressed that we interrupted their day. The cappuccino was okay, the wine was local and good, the prices were steep. But we sat outside, there was "free wifi" and it was a lovely terrace area and we were in Sicily.... More

Called in for a swift half while the girls were shopping in a nice part of town before evening meal, and delighted to find a huge tv showing football, probably best picture quality I've seen, but long wait at the uncrowded bar for service, to be charged 5.50 Euros for a HALF of Guinness was very disappointing. Pub down the... More

Ordered a few drinks. Asked for a sweet drink with alcohol for my wife. We got the drink and it was really good but didn't really taste the alcohol. When we got the bill they charged us but noticed it was for non alcohol. I told them I really didn't want to pay for a non alcoholic drink. They said... More

Think we stumbled luckily on this bar. It has to be the best bar in town. Try the Bavarian beer beautiful. Thanks to the great staff and service. You will not need to go anywhere else. Music was on a Wednesday night and the band were tremendous playing a lot of various artists especially Brit pop. Hit the like button... More

Staying in Taormina we look for lunchtime snacks. We came across the Irish Pub. The beer and wine was OK but I ordered a crepe and was very disappointed it was very rubbery we did not go back again.

OK so em I was possibly the most and only irish thing in the bar apart from the draught Guinness. !! . It's got a nice atmosphere and seating area outside. No traditional irish food. Good for a drink and to watch sport. But that's about it. Chris Ireland /Bristol

We just popped in for a quick drink during our whistle-stop tour of Taormina. If you're bored with Peroni or Moretti beer and have earned something more refreshing then this is the place for you. I ordered a large bottle of Magners with ice and didn't really care about the cost, it wasn't astronomical either. The service was quick and... More
