Great panoramic view (photo op), can be accessed by mobile stairway, monument to Garibaldi, leading to Piazza della Repubblica...

Cortona is really so breathtaking that seeing the panorama for this Piazza is just the icing on the cake...Just lovely, looming clouds and ancient vistas...can't get much better.

Cortona is crowded, and it is also a typical beauty of a Tuscan town. I will long remember the plaza and the view from the town wall. I will also remember the local restaurants trying to sell us the cheap "tourist wine" at inflated prices...More
