This was my first time in Tuscany, and my first ever time doing a wine tour. I went on the tour with two friends from school, and due to it being February, we were the only three people on the tour. None of us knew very much about the complexities of good wine, but Todd (owner of Tuscan Trails and... More

Todd gave us the greatest mix of learning and wine in one day. We brought all of our wedding guests on the tour and saw such a great blend of different wineries in the Chianti region. Highly recommended!

My wife and I were in Florence for our honeymoon and decided to do a tour of Montalcino with Todd. It could not have been a better day! Todd picked us up from where we were staying and drove us to Montalcino. Having lived in both the U.S. and in Italy and been around wine most of his life, Todd... More

This was my second time on the Tuscan Trails wine tour and it didn't disappoint again. This time Todd, who owns Tuscan Trails, led our tour and due to some creative scheduling and being end of season my friend and I were the only two people. The weather was fairly rainy but we spent most of the time inside tasting... More

It's pretty obvious from the number & quality of reviews that Todd knows his stuff and does an excellent job making your tour a memorable one. My husband and I had an amazing day on the daily Chianti tour, drinking plenty of wine, learning about the wine making process, tasting olive oil, and eating an amazing lunch. It was definitely... I spent a day in Chianti and a day in Montalcino with Todd. He was an outstanding guide and given how many people I've directly referred to Tuscan Trails, it seems only proper to write a brief review. Both regions have breathtaking vistas and the wineries Todd chose made excellent wine. I quickly recognized Todd's depth of knowledge being a... More

We booked Todd Bolton to take us on 2 private wine tours while in Italy this fall. What a fabulous learning and tasting experience each one was! Easy communication and confirmations prior to the tours as Todd speaks English as well as Italian. Punctual pick up and drop off. The first tour was Chianti Classico and the second was the... More

We stumbled across this tour at short notice and booked because of the feedback on TripAdvisor. It was a great choice. This is a brilliant trip, a small group and the wine is stunning. Todd makes it with an intelligent, funny but best of not stuffy narrative to the wine and region. An absolute gem of a day.

I can't recommend Todd and Tuscan Trails highly enough. My friend and I had a private day tour around Montalcino leaving from Florence. Todd was very communicative about our plans via email. He recommended a day visiting three wineries, lunch, and a couple of quick visits to local villages. Everything was better than expected. He was right on time. We... More

Our day with Todd was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, funny, and so easy going. Like spending the day on a wine trip with an old friend. A friend who can navigate the sometimes insane Italian driving situation. We visited two wineries. Both of which were charming, full of history and of course, had delectable wine. In between we stopped for... More
