I went to this park to get to the local swimming pool and get some nature. Normally I really like city parks, but I won't be coming back here. Upon entering I encountered many (apparently) homeless people, addicts and loiterers. As a result, I was approached almost immediately and sometimes chased. This has happened several times. This can give a very unsafe feeling. Furthermore, the park itself looked unkempt and dilapidated. I was happy when I got back to the city itself.

Was hoping for a nice escape from the city center but received a rude awakening within moments of entering the park. I witnessed a fight break out between a gang of youths near the tram stop, then walked by a children’s playground which was inhabited only by addicts actively using drugs, then immediately began getting chased down by some stranger yelling at me from afar. Needless to say, I got out of there quick after that. A real shame, since this park apparently has quite a bit of history.

Walked through this park to get to the local swimming pool. Park was neglected looking and we did not feel safe walking through it due to groups of homeless/migrants hanging about it..found this place intimidating.

we arrived by tram no 1, had a small walk,please be aware of the migrants living in the wooded area as they pose a danger . we were followed and thy tried to make us detour in to the woodland, an italian mouthed the word dangerous to us so we were cautious.very reasonable entrance and sun bed price, restaurant and cafe, no water fountain, changing rooms and showers basic.small childrens play area and separate childs pool.

this is the biggest park near the center of florence. you can reach it by bus or by train. sometimes there are special events (spring/summer). you can take a long walk or go running. pay attention to the gipsies also during the day. at night it’s full of prostitues and drug dealers. recommended only during the day. i would not recommend girls who are travelling solo to get in the park alone.

The Parco delle Cascine, is a gi-normous collections of beautiful gardens, buildings and sculptures, dating back to the 16th century as a royal family's farming and hunting grounds. Purchase the multi-pass to gain access into all the museums and galleries. Plan to spend several hours and bring good walking shoes and plenty of refreshments.

great place to ride your bike or get away from hustle and bustle of the town. Bike rentals are available in the park itself or at the many rental places in town

Walked through here with a friend today. It's a spacious park with benches throughout. Be aware of the ants. They are everywhere. There's a swimming pool and cafe at the end but we didn't use these facilities. Be aware of large groups of migrants, they might be grand but some of them were getting into trouble with he police as we walked by.

Visiting Florence for the weekend, I was curious to also visit the park, but after walking less than a hundred meters I noticed numerous groups of immigrants and drug addicts, which made me desist from continuing in order to avoid possible risks. This at 11 in the morning. Not sure.

Park once. Magnificent now dangerous for the presence of drifters and drug dealers ready for anything, much dirt .. avoid it big time
