We love the bike tour. It was easy to get to a lot of places not seen on the common tours. Florence is a place very crawling with tourists. We moved through them easily seeing many places. Antonio was very knowledgeable of the town and it's history. We took the food tour which stopped at 3 different places to sample... More

This 3 hour bike tour was a great overview of Florence. Valentina was very personable with great knowledge and a passion for her city. She was so helpful about the best places to visit with our limited time in the city. The food tastings were delicious! The tour coveted all of the major squares and sites in Florence, which we... Great itinerary and also great food tastings choices! The tour guide Vanessa was a really, really kind person, super funny and honest and also seemed to be very knowledgeable and assertive about the informations that she was giving to us. She took us outside Florence and at the end also helped me giving me some more info about the city!

Fantastically bike tour of Florence. Cristina our guide was so much fun and very knowledgeable. I loved her "curiosities"! Her enthusiasm was infectious as was her obvious love and pride in Firenze! If you only have time for one guided tour...this is the one.

Benedetta gave a very good and detailed explanation. The bike ride was not too fast, good for everyone. The foodstops were nice, although the pastries were a bit heavy.

it was amazing....we were with Valentino (I hope I remembered her name correctly) and she was such fun and informative and enthusiastic. would definitely rate this as one of the best ways to see a new city and cover a lot of ground as well as go to places that would take you too long on foot.

We did the tour with two 10 yr olds and a 8 yr old and it was their favorite part of Florence. Valentina was an excellent English guide - providing historical information, quizzing us, and injecting dry humor. The route was very safe and flat with oblivious pedestrians being the only hazards to avoid. The gelato at the end was... More

We had a wonderful morning on the food and bike tour with Benedetta, who was fun and clearly passionate about her city which was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and ran a great tour. As bike tours go this one was fairly relaxed and we didn't have to navigate any heavy traffic - just narrow lanes and people. This tour... More

So happy you appreciated the kind of tours we offer and my job, too! In Florence you cannot miss food and a bike ride, so we decided to put them together and I was sure my guests would have appreciated it! Grazie Grazie Grazie! Benedetta (: More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
