This little-visited church was one of Florence's most important churches during the Renaissance. Botticelli is buried here, along with his muse, Simonetta Vespucci. Don't miss the exquisite Domenico Ghirlandaio "Last Supper," the very one Leonardo da Vinci admired before painting his.

A lovely church in Florence with a very beautiful facade. Florence has hundreds of such churches and it is well worth having a walk around trying to find them

My wife and I arrived at La Chiesa di Ognissanti just as (an English-speaking!) wedding party was leaving, so we waited a few minutes before entering until the newly-married couple was celebrating with friends around limousines in the piazza in front of the church. We...More

Yes, the same Amerigo whose name our country took! This global navigator was buried here in the 15th century. His family were Florentines and worshiped here. The exterior of the church is nondescript but the interior contains some incredible frescoes including one by Botticelli (St....More

If you are passing outside the church, at first you are not very impressed but when you go inside you find that is a lovely church with some nice art.

A beautiful church which is rather plain on the outside and I'm sure bypassed by many. But the frescoes and paintings are just brilliant. A huge Botticelli. Unable to see the Last Supper frescoe as it was closed. Well worth a visit.
