The most entertaining evening we have spent for a long time. My 10 year old daughter is keen to learn to cook, my wife keen to improve and my son, 15, and I neither terribly interested but willing to go along with female enthusiasm. We were given a warm welcome by Stefania, a professional chef who spoke fluent English. Her... More

My husband and I traveled with our daughter and daughter-in-law to Florence in June. We deliberately spend our vacations in one city at a time, learning and living the culture as much as much as possible during our trips. The highlight of our trip to Florence were the three days we spent cooking with Stephania, the owner of Toscana in... More

As a dietitian/nutritionist and daughter of a Chinese chef, food is my love and passion. So for my vacation in Italy, I naturally wanted to experience a private cooking lesson for my family of four. I found Chef Stefania's cooking classes on Trip Advisor and was immediately drawn to the small group classes. The class was four hours long and... More

What a wonderful way to spend 4 hours or more. Stefania was a very patient and instructive Chef. We made a lunch of pasta followed by pizza and topped off with tiramisu. Sounds complicated--but it was simple and delicious. Both my wife and I participated in the experience, with no loss of fingers or burns!! The techniques she shared with... More

We had such a great time cooking with Sefania! She answered all of my questions and believe me there were a lot. She showed us so many different techniques and even gave us spices to take home. This was by far my favorite experience in Florence!

This class was hands down the highlight of my trip to Florence. We made both egg and water based pasta and several different types. My favorite was the gnocchi with ragu...to die for and light as a feather.while i like to cook i had never made pasta before and i learned so much. This lady is both lovely and generous... More

I spent a wonderful 4 hours with Stefania learning to cook in authentic Italian style. Stefania is a professional cooking instructor, who also gives lessons in her home. After much research on Trip Advisor, I was initially interested in her class because of the individual attention it promised, not a large class with over 20 participants. I emailed Stefania to... My mother and I spent four hours at Toscana in Bocca today. What a lovely experience! Highly organized, professionally run, yet with all the warmth of being in a "real" Italian's home. The food was beyond delicious, we learned a lot, and, as my mom said, "it felt like a dream!" We highly recommend!

I found Stefania on TripAdvisor and knew that this was something my group would have to try out! It was such an intimate and personal setting and Stefania could not have been a more gracious and patient hostess. She served us Prosecco and espresso while we learned to make 5 different courses. All the ingredients were simple and fresh. It... More

A friend and I just returned from an amazing 2 week trip to Italy and one of the many highlights was the afternoon we spent with Stefania learning to cook a Tuscan meal. The cooking class takes place in her home and was an enjoyable day of learning, good food and great conversation. Stefania is a great teacher and I've... More
