Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and...more

We really enjoyed the Opera arias at St Mark's. The venue was small and cordial, and the 2 singers were wonderful. Franz Moser is a gifted pianist and MC. The show lasted about 90 minutes with an intermission. Highly recommended.
St. Mark's itself is a beautiful church. We thoroughly enjoyed the opera which had just enough humor with the drama. Beautiful voices told the story. A special thank you to Franz for helping me arrange my visit from the USA. Would definitely do a return...More
We went to see the performance of Rigoletto. Great performance from the singers and the pianist. Really appreciated the Director explaining in English what the next scene was going to be about. Had an enjoyable time at the opera.
The setting with a small group gives a unique, personal experience to the performance. The Three Tenors was an impressive and fun show. The singers and the pianist are amazing; I had chills throughout the performance.
I am used to the Opera with a full cast and Orchestra so this was very different but surprisingly amazing. I saw Carmen, which is my favorite opera, and having a handful of performers and only the pianist did not take away from it. With...More
I can't recommend this enough. It was a wonderful evening. The performance was terrific.
Bring money for a delicious intermission drink and to support projects for disadvantaged children.
It is a win-win!
David Righeschi performed a unique opera evening attend His performances and get his album. I was impressed that queen Sophie of Greece was a donor in 1931. History at St. Mark’s Anglican Church. The program coorcinators were helpful and made us feel welcome.
We had gone to the information office and collected several brochures on music in Florence. We were dissuaded from St Mark's being told it was small and uncomfortable. We went anyway to see Love Duets. It was a lovely evening. Great range of music and...More
A warm evening with a cocktail in your hand and great company is the ideal way to experience Piazza Santo Spirito; the area is busiest at sunset for happy hour. Visitors cannot hide their astonishment sitting on the staircase under the Basilica of Santo Spirito, and they cannot help but stare at the architectural masterpieces like Bianca Cappello House, Fontana dello Sprone and San Frediano in Cestello and Santa Maria
delle Carmine churches. Tourists and Florentines alike join up in the area between Santo Spirito and San Frediano, connecting the Tuscan soul to the international spirit permeating the city.
