Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

We decided to do this after seeing it on tripadvisor's list of the best things to do in Florence and we weren't disappointed. Neither of us had been to the opera before, but this really is the perfect introduction. Friendly, relaxed and informal, in a...More

We got tickets to the Love Duets concert at St Marks only a couple of hours before the performance but it turned out to be a great decision. We were actually quite shocked that the church wasn't a sell out given the standard of the...More

Simply fabulous! Do not miss. We booked a tour that included an authentic Italian dinner and this opera performance. It was fabulous! The piano player/MC was so talented and had a great sense of humor and the opera singers were wonderful. We truly enjoyed this...More

Franz is a wonderful pianist and is very funny with his introductions. The singers have beautiful voices and were very expressive. We saw the love duets and neapolitan songs and really enjoyed the evening. We were in the second row and could see everything. I...More

My mother and I were lucky to be in the audience in St. Mark's Church on Saturday, May 15. The performance was very touching. We have both seen Tosca on many occasions, including with leading world cast (Urmana, Mattila, Guleghina, Scharubina, Gheorgiu, etc.). The cast...More

Professional singers and pianist performed popular arias from operas by Mozart, Verdi and Puccini. The standard was excellent and enjoyed by all. A great evening of entertainment.

Saw the group perform Tosca tonight at the church. While the acoustics is not bad the church setting is sub optimal for opera performance. The cast was enthusiastic but consisted of capable amateurs. Their signing was solid but acting skills generally poor (with one partial...More

Santo Spirito / San Frediano
A warm evening with a cocktail in your hand and great
company is the ideal way to experience Piazza Santo
Spirito; the area is busiest at sunset for happy hour.
Visitors cannot hide their astonishment sitting on the
staircase under the Basilica of Santo Spirito, and
they cannot help but stare at the architectural
masterpieces like Bianca Cappello House, Fontana dello
Sprone and San Frediano in Cestello and Santa Maria
