Located in the center of old town. Definitely go there to see main cathedral and baptistery. Do not forget to book your visit.

Monumental building, special black and while marble with the biggest dome roof in the world. A must see from both close range and from distance. if you want to go insede, make sure you reserve in advance online, or prepare for a 2-3 hours waiting.

Bruneleschis dome by Burke is a good book about the building of the dome. The doors are outside and reproductions but free to see. Inside, the real ones cost money. Tons of people and not much shade but cafes everywhere for watching the beautiful world...More

Take your time walking around and admiring how all this was possible to build. Many cafes and lots of ice cream all around, but very pricy, 2 scoops of ice cream cost you 8€!!! The further you get from here the cheaper ist gets (sometimes)....More
