The Ognissanti is a beautiful church on the other side of the Arno river. There are a number of famous people buried here including (as we were told) Botticelli. Nice artworks and a serene quiet atmosphere!

We love all his paintings and were pleasantly surprised to find out this was his burial ground. Bring your letter to leave for him since there's a basket for visitors to leave him their message. Also Ghirlandaio's Last Supper is here but currently under restoration...More

Very quiet and sacred place. They have lots of beautiful but immaculate paintings or statues at there. Above all, crucifixion created by Giotto was worth watching. It was gorgeous and ornate but on the other hand, I felt something warm and gentle from this.

We found this quiet old church regularly closed to visitors while "religious functions" were taking place. But as our hotel was across the piazza we eventually found a moment to look inside the dull grey facade. Hardly anyone inside but a Franciscan monk tending to...More

After having visited Florence countless times, I was advised to visit the 13th century Church of All Saints or Ognissanti on the street of the same name. It lies a few steps from the Arno river between Ponte alla Carraia and Vespuggi . Ognissanti is...More

stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It
is impossible not to admire the the square, housing
