This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

This statute is a wonderful sight in the Piazza. Each time I see it I am impressed with the size and incredible workmanship. A must see in Florence, The Piazza is full of similar statutes and nice restaurants.

Nothing special about this place. It is actually a parking lot with souvenir boothes. The view is alright over Firenze and Ponte Vecchio although there were some building cranes derogating the view. A lot nicer is the Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte some minutes...More

If you want a great view of a beautiful city this is the place to be. It's a lovely walk from the Ponte Vecciho along the river and up the steps and well worth it.

It was drizzling and quite covered, yet the walk from Santa Croce was worth the visit. A view of the old city, the wall, the old florentine houses in the middle of wide greenery...

The Statue overlooking the city is a site not be missed. It's absolutely scenic and the city looks amazingly pretty from here.. A good photo point and a site to be captured in your memory forever.
