Located in an old monastery this leather school is a must see in Florence. Everything is handcrafted and you can have it custom engraved with gold letters or symbols.

We have been exploring Florence for quality leather goods. This place had it all. You walk past where your goods are made, watching people who are learning their trade. We also found the staff to be extremely helpful and happy to see us. Price wise...More

Really cool, off the beaten trail place. The shop is in the back of a monastery (with signs asking you to be quiet). The store is a decent size, and the goods were reasonably priced - not as cheap as the street markets, but less...More

So hard to find but when you do you won’t be disappointed. Bought 2 belts and a wash bag as presents. Nearly didn’t buy anything for myself but so glad I did. Bought a fab rucksack which will last for years. Great place to visit...More

We visited Scuola del Cuoio during our trip to Florence. It has tons of beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted leather goods at good prices. If you are looking for leather in Florence, definitely stop here!

This is the place to go for exquisite, expertly crafted, one-of-a-kind leather goods. Forget the designer labels and invest in one of their incredible creations. The intrecciato products in particular are an unbelievable value.

This was one of the first places I had on my list of to-do. The school itself is stunning. Converted into a space for artisans to learn the craft of bag, belt & jacket making, it is well worth your time to visit. If you...More

Santa Croce
Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the
Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night.
Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and
artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the
Central National Library. As a hub for young people,
the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a
continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated
by songs and dances.
