Recommend a tour to get the most out of it, but even just wandering and reading as you can is a good experience in the Palace. Lots and lots to see. Gardens are beautiful.

this was a chance stop on our way through the city and we did not regret it. the queues were light at this time of the year and the rooms so well designed. there were art works that took our breath away- a great day.

Really great artworks by Raphael, Botticelli, Fillipo Lippi etc. but harsh spotlights make it difficult to see some of the paintings.

After seeing the othe major sites, nice to visit and not just see religious paintings and such. Gave you a feel of how the wealthy lived back then. Hilly, and steps to get from one area to another, find the elevator if you need it.

The Galleria Palatina in Palazzo Pitti is part of the Uffizi Museo, with great masters displayed as they were when the Medici's were there. Rafael, Goya, Botticelli, Rubens and so many more. Be prepared to spend an afternoon enjoying this treasure.

The exhibitions inside the Palazzo are an acquired taste and the paintings are all a bit samey. The costume museum is frankly a joke - could make my local charity shop a museum based not this exhibit! The modern art exhibition is also anything but...More

During my previous trip to Florence I had visited the Pitti gardens but did not go into the palace itself. On this trip we decided to do both the gardens and Palatine gallery. We really enjoyed the gallery. The rooms were interesting from the frescos...More

Just cross the Ponte Vecchio and it will be on the left - you cannot miss it. Enjoyable museum with extensive galleries. For the ticket, you can also see the Giardino Boboli. You can walk through the various chambers, and the depth and breadth of...More

It is not only the paintings but the flair or the royal chambers (including a bathroom) which give you a feel for the time "back then". Beautifully restored and lit with a fabulous view on the Giardini Boboli, it is quite a treat away from...More

I am not sure. Please look online at the primary attraction. If you plan to see more things please look at the city pass as the easy access to most events was also a great perk!
