If you're visiting Florence a 'must do' is a Tuscany Bike Tour. It's was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city of Florence. Our exceptional guide was Andy who was very passionate about the region and it's produce. We had plenty of stops along the way with great photo opportunities and snippets of history and... More

I had an idea of what to expect for a typical half day bike tour with a vineyard and this was much better than what I expected. The coolest part was how private the vineyard was. I was expecting the usual run of the mill run you in, cookie cutter wine tour. I felt this was more like walking into... More

we had a great trip with Bill. Weather was kind (warm, not too hot; overcast) and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Overnight accommodation @ Villa Rosa was very comfortable, and evening meal excellent. Wine tasting and lunch first day was great. Bill was very flexible with what we did and where we went - once he had sussed out our... More

We (2 parents and 2 adult children) had a fabulous day biking on the adventure tour with Andrea. We signed up for a group trip, but we were the only ones in the group. He was very friendly and shared his knowledge and interest in the area, as well as his family background. The biking was a blast. I was... More

While the food was amazing in Florence, we were a bit disappointed with the city overall. That all ended after our bike tour through Tuscany. The views were incredible and our tour guide Freddy was amazing. Not only did he give us some history of the region we were not previously aware of, he took us to spots around the... More

5 stars! This is a must-do while in Tuscany! One of our favorite days of our Italian vacation. We had an awesome guide, Bill, who made this such a fun day for us. The best part of the tour was that it didn’t feel like a tour. It felt like we were just out on a bike ride with a... More

Hi Southmansion, thanks for you lines! Yes, Bill is great, but don't tell him or his ego will explode... You're right, we had to move twice during 2016, but now the new office is in via Romana 41/43 red, and there will stay for a long time... A presto, Luca More

My parents and I booked the half day bike tour on a whim for our last full day in Florence, it ended up being one of the best decisions we made all trip! Our tour guide, Freddy, was superb. Extremely knowledgable about everything Florence, Wine, Olive Oil, and more - plus a great sense of humor. He made us feel... More

We visited Florence Rome and Siena, and this was one of the highlights! Our guide, Andrea, was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We did the half-day tour that left from Florence and ventured into the outskirts of the Tuscan countryside. We stopped at a 15th century villa for a heavy tasting/light lunch that included wine, olive oil, bread, meat and... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
