OK I am a little Bias, as my wife family come from Montenero, but this place is magical, her uncle used to drive the Funicolare when it was manual but now it is all automated, it is still fun to do and a great way...More

I warmly recommend this experience not only for adults....take your children trying a means of transportation of the past....It only takes some minutes to get to the Santuario of Montenero. Its ticket is not expensive and this little trip gives you good views. Try it!

an unusual way of moving. It is an ancient little gauge railway built about a century ago to transport people from and to the Montenero sanctuary. A very short travel, bur an unusual and fun one, expecially for kids

This cable car was opened in 1908 and is the easiest way to get to Sanctuary di Montenero. There are 2 cars going up and down the hill with an interval of 20 minutes. And if you missed a car, it's definitely worth waiting for...More
